Violeta Mastronardi is a Research Collaborator at the Centro de Estudios de Arquitectura Contemporánea (CEAC) of the Escuela de Arquitectura y Estudios Urbanos, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, working under the direction of Javier Agustín Rojas. Her role includes the organization and logistical coordination of lectures and exhibitions, supervision of interns, exhibition production and on-site assembly, content creation, community management, and the development of public outreach and social media strategies. She also coordinates the publication of event materials and post-event documentation, contributing to the execution and visibility of CEAC’s public academic program.

MAIO is an architecture studio based in Barcelona whose work focuses on inclusive and non-normative spatial practices. Their projects range from objects to urban design and aim to reinterpret inherited social structures through spatial strategies that enable resilience and long-term transformation. MAIO’s work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including MoMA, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture, the Royal Academy, the Art Institute of Chicago, Storefront for Art and Architecture, the Triennale di Milano, CIVA, and the Venice Architecture Biennale. Members of the studio actively combine professional practice with academic, research, and editorial work, and currently teach at institutions such as ETH Zurich, ETSAB/ETSAV, and Elisava, following previous teaching appointments at the Architectural Association in London and Columbia University GSAPP.
