Jeannette Kuo is an architect trained at the University of California, with a Master of Architecture from Harvard GSD and a Master of Advanced Studies from ETH Zurich. Since 2020, she has been Professor of Architecture and Construction at the Technical University of Munich, and has previously taught at MIT, EPFL, and Harvard GSD. In 2023 she was the Cullinan Visiting Professor at Rice University, and in 2006 she received the Maybeck Teaching Fellowship at UC Berkeley. She is the author of A-Typical Plan (2013) and Space of Production (2015). In 2010, she co-founded Karamuk Kuo with Ünal Karamuk, a Zurich-based practice exploring the intersection of spatial concepts and construction technologies. The studio works across scales, from multi-family housing to cultural complexes, and has been widely published in international journals including Archithese, Werk, Bau + Wohnen, Domus, Casabella, and The Architectural Review. In 2018, their work was compiled in an El Croquis monograph.

Violeta Mastronardi is a Research Collaborator at the Centro de Estudios de Arquitectura Contemporánea (CEAC) of the Escuela de Arquitectura y Estudios Urbanos, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, working under the direction of Javier Agustín Rojas. Her role includes the organization and logistical coordination of lectures and exhibitions, supervision of interns, exhibition production and on-site assembly, content creation, community management, and the development of public outreach and social media strategies. She also coordinates the publication of event materials and post-event documentation, contributing to the execution and visibility of CEAC’s public academic program.
