Andrés Jaque is an architect, curator, and author with graduate and doctoral training from the School of Architecture in Madrid. He founded Office for Political Innovation (OFFPOLINN), based in New York and Madrid, combining research, architectural design, and activism. Recent projects include the Reggio School in Madrid, Ocean Space for TBA21 in Venice, and the Babyn Yar Museum of Memory and Oblivion in Kyiv. His work has been shown at institutions such as MoMA and the Art Institute of Chicago, and has received major awards including the UNESCO Global Award for Sustainable Architecture (2024), the Kiesler Prize (2016), and the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale (2014). He has curated major exhibitions including the Shanghai Biennale (2020) and co-curated Manifesta 12 (2018), and authored books such as Superpowers of Scale (2020) and PHANTOM. Mies as Rendered Society (2013). Jaque is Dean and Professor at Columbia GSAPP, advancing a political, trans-scalar agenda linking architecture, technology, and the environment.
